Jury
Jury scoring
Scoring teams against the criteria from your own link, saving drafts and submitting.
As a jury member you do not need an account. The organizer sends you a personal link; opening it takes you straight to the scoring screen. It works on a phone, tablet or computer.
The link is personal
The address is the permission itself: anyone who knows it can enter scores in your name. Do not share it and do not open it on a shared screen.
What is on the screen
- At the top, how many teams you have submitted — for example 3/12 teams submitted.
- For each team, the project title and the evaluation criteria.
- Each criterion has a score range and a weight, written as a percentage.
- At the bottom, an optional note for the organization.
Scoring
- 1Watch the pitch, then open that team's card.
- 2Enter a score for each criterion. The allowed range is written next to it.
- 3Add a note if you want. The note is not passed to the team; only the organization sees it.
- 4If you need a break, press Save draft — nothing you entered is lost.
- 5When you are done with the team, press Submit.
- 6A summary of your scores appears. Check it: press Go back to fix anything, or Confirm and submit if it is right.
- 7Move on with Next team.
A submitted evaluation cannot be changed
There is no undo after you confirm. That is why Submit does not send straight away: it first shows a summary of your scores and asks you to check it one last time. Press Go back on that screen to fix anything. If you are unsure, leave it as a draft with Save draft — you can come back to a draft as often as you like. To submit, every criterion for that team must be scored.
What the weight does
The weight sets each criterion's share of the total. If Feasibility is 40%, your score there moves the result more than the others do. Weights are set by the organizer; you only enter scores.
Privacy
You only see your own scores. Other jury members' scores are never shown to you, and yours are never shown to them. The ranking is calculated in the organizer panel once all evaluations are in.
If something goes wrong
- "Link invalid or expired"
- The link may have been regenerated or revoked. Ask the organizing team for a new one.
- "No teams to score yet"
- Teams have not been defined yet. Contact the organizer.
- "Evaluation criteria not defined yet"
- Scoring does not open until the criteria are entered. This is a step for the organizer to complete.
- I submitted a wrong score
- A submitted evaluation cannot be changed from the screen. Let the organizing team know.
For organizers: setting up the jury
- 1Add the Jury module from the Modules card on the event page; the tab appears afterwards.
- 2Give the JURY role to the relevant people in the Participants tab.
- 3In the Jury tab press Define criteria and enter each criterion, its description and its weight.
- 4Make the weights add up to 1.00; otherwise the final ranking stays closed.
- 5Press Generate link for each jury member and send them the link.
- 6Follow progress under Results as scores come in.
- 7Once the first score arrives the criteria are locked: title, description, rubric, weight, score range and order can no longer change. Finalise the criteria BEFORE scoring starts.
Note
Until every evaluation is in, results are marked provisional. If the weights do not add up to 1.00 the ranking never opens — a deliberate lock, so a wrong ranking is not published.
